Helen B. Ogrin

Helen is a Loan Officer with Preferred Lending Solutions licensed through the National Mortgage Licensing System in the State of Louisiana. She and her team of experts specialize in both purchase and refinance loans via Conventional, FHA, VA and RD. Helen is married to Pat Ogrin and has three children and two step children, of whom three are grown and two are teenagers. She was born in Baton Rouge, LA, grew up in Alexandria, LA and moved to North Carolina after high school. After college, she became a Real Estate Broker working in Wilmington, NC. In 2009, she moved back “home” to Alexandria, Louisiana to manage a large real estate firm, and in 2017, she was recruited to Bossier to manage a different real estate firm. In 2019, she transitioned into the mortgage industry and hasn’t looked back! “I have found mortgage lending to be very fulfilling as I am able to work directly with clients helping them achieve their mortgage goals and work with Realtors, keeping them informed throughout the process.” With her expertise in mortgage lending and her many years of experience managing real estate offices, she has a full grasp of the purchase process not only from a lending perspective. “Communication of information though the entire purchase or refinance process is the key to a successful transaction. My top priority is to help my borrowers reach their goals to purchase or refinance with ease!” Helen enjoys giving back in her community. She is the 2021 Executive Committee Chairman of the American Cancer Society’s White Out Cancer Gala in Shreveport/Bossier. When not working, Helen enjoys watching her kids play basketball and run cross country, and singing with a local group, “Just Souled”.
